Our Story

My love for landscaping began very early in life. I was born in Oaxaca, Mexico and moved to Sonoma County as a young child. My father worked for a local landscaper here in Sonoma County, and I would accompany him to jobs every weekend. After graduating from Casa Grande High, I began working with my father full time and at 23 years old, I became a licensed contractor.

My father and I started DMG Landscaping in 2014 as a father son team where we focused solely on landscape maintenance. Those years working alongside my father provided me with some of my most favorite memories. My father and I worked together until he needed to return to Oaxaca, Mexico to care for my ill stepmother. While it was hard to be separated from each other, that time allowed me to discover myself and the direction I wanted to take DMG Landscaping.

In 2018 with the help of my beautiful wife Viviana, a Sonoma State Graduate, we pivoted the company from landscape maintenance to landscape construction and hardscapes. Since that pivot, my team and I have traveled all over the United States to attend conferences, seminars, and classes to learn about landscape construction and hardscapes.

Continued education is very high priority for my team and me. While many aspects of landscape construction and hardscapes remain constant, there are always new trends and new efficient ways to install products. Providing my clients with the best materials, prices and final product is only possible with experience and education.

I am so fortunate that my parents chose Sonoma County as home. Viviana and I have sewn deep roots here and love that our children Carolina and Andres will be able to grow up here, and may one day take over DMG Landscaping.
